The Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, met with the Minister of Education and Sport, Lindita nikolla.
The focus of this meeting was the higher education law that has been opposed by the opposition and universities.
Minister Nikolla declared by the end of the meeting that there has been a fruitful talk with an important institution such as the President.
She insisted that the higher education law that passed last week in Parliament is better for this sector.
“The law for the higher education improves the performance of students and professors. The higher education institutions will have meritocracy”, Nikolla declared.
