The Albanian government has announced that it has decided to help Ballsh oil workers with 560 million ALL, after the latter ended the several weeks long hunger strike and agreed to enter into discussions with Prime Minister Edi Rama.
The Budget Director at the Ministry of Finance, Mimoza Dëmbi has indicated that 560 million ALL will go for the payments of oil workers.
Ballsh oil workers went on hunger strike for days, initially the men who were later replaced by women oil workers, until they agreed to accept the offer of talks from the head of government, while saying that for other unpaid salaries they will address the Strasbourg court.
