Prime Minister Edi Rama said today in a conversation on the indexation of pensions and the compensation of the increase in basket product prices, that in Albania there are protests, but in other countries the victims of the war in Ukraine are being respected.
Regarding the protesters demanding a reduction in fuel prices, Rama said that the main problem in this time of war is to find ships coming to Albania, as countries are closing the borders.
Rama: “All the protesters in the world respect the victims because they know that their country has entered the war, despite the fact that the planes do not come over their heads and the prices are not only in the countries that have imposed sanctions on Russia.
“Energy prices have risen in Turkey, and so has Serbia.
“The biggest problem is when there are no products at all, when the supply drops completely and the market says you will only buy this much that there is none. Today the main problem is to find the ships that come here.
“All countries are closing their borders, as was the case with the pandemic.”
