Protest for more women MPs

The only protesters for woman rights today in Tirana are a group of
young people. Led by an association, they asked more political
representation by women.
“We want to raise our voice on March 8th for equal representation of women in Parliaments. We want Albania to join the initiative for a 50%-50% women and men representation in Parliament”, said Linda Pino from the Human Right House.
Meanwhile, INSTAT statistics show that unemployment for women has increased and 40% of them are underpaid or work without payment.
These are not just figures, but the real situation of women who today have more reasons to protest than to celebrate.
