Prosecutor General loses battle at Administrative Court

Arta Marku, the Temporary Prosecutor General, has been on her duty for one year. She received a lesson by the foreign members of the International Monitoring Operation, at first. Now she received a second lesson from the judiciary.
The Administrative Court has invalidated her orders to transfer the Prosecutors regarding the Shullazi case. The Administrative Court says that the transfer should have been done with arguments, although Arta Marku at that time said that she acted because she couldn’t stay hand in hand.
“It is my legal obligation to take the necessary measures for any prosecutor who refuses to exert his duty”, Marku said.
