The Prosecution of Tirana requested the Court to find the Mayor of
Kamza, Xhelal Mziu, guilty for power abuse and abuse with tenders. They
demanded three years of prison.
The Prosecution asked the Court to remove his right to work in public institutions. The Kamza Mayor was arrested in 2013. The Prosecution says he had abused with the road tenders, by causing a 800.000 USD damage to the government for the reconstruction of the Valias I Ri – Laknas axis.
The Prosecution has requested one year in prison for two other employees of the municipality, Atli Hoti and Bujar Lloshi.
