Prosecution sends former Education Minister’s case to Supreme Court

After four months of investigations at the Prosecution General, the
former Minister of Education, Myqerem Tafaj, was sent for investigation
at the Supreme Court, accused of power abuse.
The news has been reported by the Prosecution, while official sources say that Tafaj is suspected of power abuse, but the first distance has not verified any financial benefit against the law.
According to the Prosecution, the abuses of the former Minister are related to a decision for accrediting som programs for the “Vitrina” university without fulfilling any criteria.
The former Minister has received the accusation, but he declared that he has not committed that crime.
Prosecutors say they have evidence showing that the Accrediting Council has opposed the request of Vitrina to open this university, a decision that was delegated to Tafaj, who has apparently signed in favor.
