Prosecution investigates plant sale auction

The documents were seized after the prosecution started an investigation regarding intentional violations in an auction, for favoring different companies. The suit was filed by the legal representatives of the Cara Company, who were disqualified in this auction although they had offered 57 million more than the winner.

The entire quantity of scrap metal was sold for 24.6 million ALL. The main leaders of this sale operation will be summoned by the prosecution. The plaintiff informed the prosecution that the quantity of scrap metal in this plant was much bigger than what the auction documents showed.

Winner of this company was the company Kurum, which wanted to supply the raw materials for their Metallurgy Plant in Elbasan, but the operations in terrain were made by another sub contractual company that had participated in the auction.

The sub contractual company appointed the operation leaders for dismantling and transporting the metal in Elbasan. In the Metallurgic factory lays the key that solves this operation that cost to the Albanian state hundreds of millions. The Metallurgy lists for the scrap received would speed up the prosecution’s investigation.
