Prosecution demands return of Shpetim Gjika in prison

The Vlore Prosecution appealed the decision of the Court of First Degree
for Mayor Shpetim Gjika, which has ruled that he will be tried while
being free. Gjika was arrested over falsification charges for the
construction of a 11-store building in Vlore.
The Prosecution asked the return of the prison arrest for Gjika. The Mayor of Vlore was arrested one week ago, but due to heart and blood pressure problems he was transferred at the Tirana hospital prison and then to a private hospital, for a more specialized care.
The decision was taken due to his bad health condition and due to a lack of evidence by the Prosecution.
