Prosecution demands 1 year in prison for former Minister of Education

The former Minister of Education, Myqerem Tafaj, has been accused of power abuse mounting up to 1 million EUR.
The Prosecution General asked one year in prison and the Criminal College of the Supreme Court withdrew for the decision.
Tafaj is accused of accrediting universities in violation with the law, that is why he was sent for trial at the Supreme Court since October 2015.
The notification of the Prosecution General said that Tafaj had decided to open school programs for higher education institutions by going against the Council of Accrediting.
