The German Ambassador to Albania, Carola Müller-Holtkemper, declared
that the competent institution for the January 21st investigations is
the General Prosecution.
According to her, the investigation should be based on the principles of the rule of law and should not be politically influenced. In an interview for Deutsche Welle, she declared:
“As for the January 21st events, there is a voluminous expertise of the FBI, and we can only hope that further steps will be taken with this solid base that was created”.
According to her, the FBI has reached its own conclusions, based on known laws of the physics.
“If these experts, based on laws of physics with absolute reliability, have reached some specific conclusions, I don’t think that there can be any deviation. This is not a matter of different tastes”, the German Ambassador in Tirana declared.
She says that the construction of the rule of law is the most important criterion in Albania’s EU integration.

Although his presence clearly showed his support, Mr. Arvizu did not hesitate to show it with worlds, especially after the attacks launched by the Prime Minister’s Office towards the General Prosecutor.
Arvizu clearly stated that the investigation is impartial and he rejected the political accusations against the General Prosecutor.
“I don’t think that this investigation is politically motivated. I think that it is clear that our support has been constant and guaranteed”, Arvizu declared.
