Prosecution challenges January 21st decision

The Tirana Prosecution challenged the decision of the January 21st appeal, opposing the innocence of the three defendants.

The appeal was just a formal matter for the prosecutor, due to the expired deadline to oppose the verdict. The Prosecutors reserved the right to analyse this decision, since the publishing of the explanatory arguments left not time for them to give detailed explanations.

The Prosecution asked 25 years to prison for the main defendants, while the Court of First Instance found the not guilty. This decision caused strong reactions in the political area, and the Prosecution is officially challenging the decision.
