The Prosecution requested four years of prison for the Mayor of Vlore,
Shpetim Gjika. Another request was to remove his right to exert public
functions for three years.
As for Eleni Dardha, his employee, the Prosecution requested three years in prison. Shpetim Gjika is accused by the Prosecution of falsifying official documents in cooperation.
The Prosecution argues that both Municipality officials have falsified two process-verbal documents of the National Council of Territory meeting.
The Prosecution asked the court to find Gjika and Dardhaj guilty, and to demolish the object that has been built after this falsification by “Deko System” and “En Bjo”, close to the marine port.
The Prosecution also asked 2.5 and 2 years in prison for both builders, Gezim Feta and Gentian Sherifaj. The Mayor of Vlore was taken under investigation last October.
