Prosecution, 17 years in prison for Nazime

“The girl had just passed 18 when she committed the crime. She grew up in very difficult economic conditions, and even a travel to Tirana was considered luxury. She had many desires and very few possibilities to realize them. In these conditions, when she was just a child, she met someone who showed interest about her. Regardless the fact if the girl accepted his moves or not, he abused with her in all legal and moral forms, and after the sexual intercourse, the life of this girl entered a very dangerous spiral. She was irresponsible for what she was doing, and even for the consequences of this absurd relation and without a future”, declared Prosecutor Blerim Tominaj.

The Prosecutor declared that it is true that the teenager is author of a crime, but not a criminal, since she has been abused by the deceased.

“He found a 14-year-old girl who was alone, and he has had sexual relations with the girl any time that he could. Their relation continued with her consent too, and when Nazime tried to leave him, when she was engaged with someone else, the 45-year-old also tried to take her from her grandparents’ house with her consent. The girl committed the crime in cold blood, after seeing that this man had destroyed her life”, the Prosecutor declared.

For these reasons, the Prosecutor declared that she should be treated with some facilities, and asked for 17 years in prison, but the defensive lawyer considered this a very harsh request.
