The Vlore Police declared that they have released the security measures
against two doctors at the Vlore Psychiatric Hospital, together with the
director.
The court issued the security measure “Obligatory presentatation at the judicial police”, and “Suspension of the right to serve in a public duty”. The Police announced the reasons:
“Antonela Agaj, Director of the Vlore Psychiatric Hospital and leader of the KEMP Commission; Diana Brahimucaj, doctor at the Vlore Psychiatric Hospital and member of the KEMP Commission and Shqiponja Arapi, doctor at the Vlore Psychiatric Hospital and member of the KEMP commission, have consumed the penal act of passive corruption and falsification of official documents”, declared the Vlore Police.
The police started the verification after the report of corruptive cases in Fiks Fare, on May 24th 2012. Fiks Fare aired the report of the father of a 25-year-old mental patient for whom the Commission doctors asked 25.000 ALL in bribe so that he could benefit the financial treatment offered by the state. “Fiks Fare” brought through the hidden cameras the request of the doctors and the act when one of them took the money. After the broadcast, the Vlore authorities started the investigations and the court issued the security measures against the doctors.
