The seven women that threatened this Monday morning to jump form a
building if the constructor did not respect their agreements for the new
apartment building on their property.
In a direct interview for Top Channel’s afternoon show “Pasdite ne Top Channel”, they declared that the constructor, Namik Pelivani, has been lying to them for three years.
Namik Pelivani explained for Top Channel that the residents who threatened suicide are not landowner and that their homes that were destroyed were built without permission.
“They are not the landowners. The owners are two Tirana families”, Pelivani declared, showing the property documents.
“The people who are complaining had built their houses on the land of the legal owners. They have applied for legalization, but that area has not been legalized”, declared Pelivani, and then read law 9482, which says that illegal constructions built on private properties will not be legalized.
The ladies replied by saying that Pelivani knew that they were not landowners since the beginning, when he demolished their houses and signed an agreement with them to recognize their share.
