Some strips of land in the administrative border between Lushnje and
Fier have turned into a source of conflicts for the Libofshe and Kolonje
communes in Lushnje.
Based on the documents they own, both communes claim the ownership of the land, becoming a problem for the investments of the area.
“The basic document that proves that this land belongs to the Gorre village are the cadastral books. Officially and based on the law, with document 132 dated 27.March.2012, i addressed to the Land Administration and Protection Directorate at Fier. I addresses officially to the Minister of Justice, the Institution for Studying lands in Fushe Kruje, the central Asset Registration Office in Tirana and all of them show that the land belongs to the Kolonje commune”, declared Jakup Beqiri, head of the Kolonje commune.
The Libofshe commune representatives claim the opposite.
“This is the measurement book of 1992 and after this registration it appears that this belongs to us”, declared Dhoksa Gjergji, head of the Urban Office at the Libofshe Commune.
The Fier Prefecture is working for resolving this conflict, and is asked to bring the relevant documentation.
“We have asked the Land Administration and Protection Directory to give us information. The kolonje commune has a correspondence with the central Directory for the registration of real estates. The documents archived so far show everything in favor of the Kolonje commune”, decalred Arben Dukaj, director of the Commission for the verification of properties, at the Fier District.
The prefecture must wait for September 2012 to give a final answer about the problem.
