The Lalzi Bay, although it is not far from Tirana, it is one of the latest tourist discoveries with its calm coastline, endless sand, a green crown that surrounds everything and a beautiful geography.

It is one of the calmest beaches near Durres, and fortunately still untouched by the concrete massacres.

In the last years, the Ishem Commune that administers this area has given permits for 50-60 new businesses that exert their activity along the 24 km long coastline. This has enabled the improvement of the public hygiene and service. But even here you have to pay for a place in the sand.

Citizens complain that there are very few public beaches where you can place your own umbrella.

Until last year, the Lalzi Bay had no public beaches, but the Ishem Commune says that they have corrected this problem this year.

“The Ishem Commune has taken a very important decision. We have created three spaces or public beaches, with the indicating signs and that are cleaned regularly”, declared the vice head of the Ishem Commune, Luan Kertosha.
