Kosovo government welcomed the KFOR ultimatum towards the Northern
Serbians to voluntarily remove the roadblocks until this Sunday.

The Interior Minister, Bajram Rexhepi declared that the right thing to do is this, to invite the Serbs to remove the roadblocks voluntarily, but according to him, if this will not happen, sooner or later there will be an intervention for removing the roadblocks.

“Serbia should be pressured to order them to remove the roadblocks, since the people, who are victims of the criminal groups, finally will return to normality. KFOR and everyone else’s desire is not to use violence”, Rexhepi declared.

The opposition had different opinions to the KFOR ultimatum. LDK encouraged KFOR to remove the roadblocks if they will not be voluntarily removed, while Self Determination considers that the government should act by itself, rather than putting their hopes on the international missions.

The representatives of the parallel structures declared that the roadblocks will not be removed until a solution will be found for Jarinje and Bernjak border checkpoints.

The Serbian citizens have even added new roadblocks in the Kroi i Vitakut Neighborhood and the “Kodra e Minatoreve.
