The UN Security Council meeting is discussing Kosovo this Thursday. Their members are concerned about the tensions between Prishtina and Belgrade, increased after Kosovo passed the law for turning the Security Forces into a proper army.
This topic was also discussed on December 17th. The discussions are expected to focus on the 100 tax on Serbian goods and the interrogations of some former KLA commanders by the Special Prosecution.
“The Security Council will continue to monitor the implementation of the Kosovo decisions for transforming the Security Forces into an army”, the report says. “It will also follow the developments of the final agreement between Belgrade and Prishtina.”
