The Albanian Prime Minister and his wife are expecting a child. Although
they preferred to keep the pregnancy news private, the secret didn’t
last.
Top Channel has officially confirmed that Prime Minister Edi Rama and his wife, Linda Rama, are expecting a baby.
This news was welcomed with joy by Greg and Rea, the two children of the Prime Ministeral family.
The family didn’t give other details, trying to keep the matter private.
Rama expressed his joy for this news during the promotion of Rudina Xhunga’s book. The Prime Minister was seen caressing Linda’s belly, something that didn’t escape the eye of the guests.
Rama and Linda Basha got married in 2010, and in her first interview, a few days before the wedding, Linda declared on Sokol Balla’s program on Top Channel, “Top Story”, that “they had met very late, when Edi Rama was changing Tirana”.
While Edi described their love with these words: “Blind love and open eyes are a fine choice”.
This fine choice, as Rama has called it, will be blessed with a child.
