The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, and a wide delegation made of the
Minister of Economic Development. Arben Ahmetaj, and the Minister of
Energy, Damian Gjiknuri, are attending a visit in China.
Rama is expected to lead the interactive session of “Success of a New Creative Economy” this Wednesday, at the World Economic Forum held in Tianjin, Eastern China, in presence of 1900 participants from 90 countries.
Part of the agenda is Rama’s meeting with his Chinese counterpart, in which they will discuss the increased trade exchange between both countries, and especially about the interest shown by Chinese companies for investing in Albania, mainly in the mining and energy sector.
Rama declared that the communication challenges with the Chinese government are open for a series of projects.
“I will continue the planned agenda in China, through which I will discuss with the Chinese Prime Minister about some projects for Albania”, Rama underlined.
The National Radio of China, the Albanian language section, says that the Albanian Prime Minister will hold a lecture for the students and academics of the Finance and Economy University in Tianjin.
