
The MP Dritan Prifti addressed to the General Prosecution with a letter, regarding some personal concerns.
Based on an article of the official Democratic Party newspaper, Prifti says that all accusations are untrue and that he is concerned for his personal security, since he has been threatened on the phone for his life. Prifti has asked the Prosecution to investigate the threats.
The General Prosecution reacted through a declaration that says that “based on the denigrating and untrue elements that have been expressed in this media, the General Prosecution announces that the MP Dritan Prifti has sent a letter to the General Prosecutor, but the content is completely different to what has been published on the newspaper”.
The letter has been officially registered at the Geenral Prosecution, and will remain as such at the archive of this institution.
The General Prosecution expressed its determination for implementing the constitutional task, regardless the insinuations that aim to deviate the dedication of the prosecutors for cases that are in the center of the public attention.
Dritan Prifti’s letter comes one day after the Prosecution decided to investigate the leaking of the video that was broadcasted on Opinion.
