The Prosecution has decided to investigate the video that was broadcasted this Thursday on “Opinion”.

During the entire day, the General Prosecution and Tirana’s Prosecution were unable to decide whose competence was to investigate the case for the leak of the investigative secrecy, the Prifti-Beqiri video. This dilemma was finally resolved by Ina Rama.

Official sources say that the General Prosecutor, Ina Rama, has ordered the Tirana Prosecution to investigate all persons that had access to the Prifti-Beqiraj video file, which was under investigation, and for finding the responsible people that leaked the evidence.

Among the persons that will be inspected are the three Albanian experts who examined the Meta-Prifti video file, in the laptop and the USB.

Contacted by Top Channel, the adviser of the General Prosecution, Plator Nesturi, declared that it was decided that this case would be verified by the Tirana Prosecution.

The Prifti-Beqiri video has surprised the Prosecution, which asked the removal of the immunity of Dritan Prifti and took him under investigation.

The video showed two state officials with a big amount of money on the table. On of Ilir Meta’s closest cooperators, Spartak Braho, who sent this video to “Opinion”, accused Prifti of corruption, while the latter accused back by saying that they had cut the most important parts of the video, which in total is 45 minutes, according to Prifti. Prifti added that he had recorded the video by himself and it has no corruption.

Prifti declared that this video involves once again the SMI leader, Ilir Meta. This answer apparently will be given after the investigations of the Prosecution, starting from this Monday.
