President visits Defense Academy

The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, also General Commander of the
Albanian Armed Forces, visited this Monday the Doctrine and Training
Command in the “Spiro Moisiu” Defense Academy, where he was received
with an official ceremony by the Albanian Army leaders.
The President felicitated the Albanian military for the 99th creation anniversary of the Albanian Armed Forces.
Topi valued Albania’s NATO membership, as the most important moment of the Armed Forces, since its foundation. Reminding the many countries that helped Albania join NATO, the President declared that a lot of work is needed for deserving this achievement.
The Head of the Albanian State and General Commander noted the new dimension of development received by the Albanian Armed Forces, based on the congratulations that the Albanian Armed Forces have received by the European Partners for the peacekeeping missions in different countries of the world.
