The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, is visiting Jerusalem for the fourth presidential conference “Confronting the Future”.
Topi was attended by the Israeli President, Shimon Perez, with whom they discussed the excellent relations of both countries, and expressed mutual will for improving them in the future.
The Head of the Albanian State valued as a very special moment the opening of the Israeli embassy in Albania. The President described the many possibilities and the facilitating taxes that are offered by Albania, now a NATO member and that is about to receive the EU candidate status.
Perez declared that Albania is a friend country and the traditional relations between the two countries are old and consolidated.
He also valued the support that Albania has given to Israel with its foreign policy, and the principled stances in the international organizations.
