President Topi in Xara and Konispol

The Albanian President continued his visits in Southern Albania, where
he met the leaders of the Xare commune and visited the citrus
plantations. In this visit he was accompanies by the Saranda Vice
Prefect, Gjergji Mano, and was welcomed by the head of the Xare commune,
Dhimo Kote, together with the head of the Aliko commune, Kristo Kaishi
and other local leaders.

The President declared that it is a pleasure to see the commitment of the local residents for cultivating traditional goods, saying that good cooperation and experience exchange serves to increase the life standards.

The head of the commune thanked the President for the visit and his evaluation for the Xare residents. Topi congratulated the residents for their work and for making good use of the experience accumulated in emigration, by not only producing, but also seeking for a market.

Topi gave his best wishes to the people who will make our country progress through hard work, saying that he repeats the appeal for dialogue and cooperation in function of the image of a new politics: that for all Albanian citizens.

President Topi placed flowers on the memorial of the Democracy Martyrs, in the center of Xare. The President then visited the Konispol Municipality, where he also met the heads of Ksamil, Livadhja and Finiq communes. The meeting was held in front of the Konispol Municipality.
