The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, participated at the “Session of
Presidents” conference with topic “Famine, Poverty, Employment”, which
is held in Izmir, Turkey.
The Head of the Albanian State declared that “innocent victims of the global economic crisis are mostly the people with low income”.
The President underlined that the Albanian economy has improved significantly during the last decade, and that the “reforms in infrastructure development and the collection of tax incomes and business administration has progressed”.
After this speech, Topi declared that “we must try more for changing the future of the people who suffer from famine, malnutrition, poverty and unemployment, because the change is a law of life that demands us to change our action for a better future”.
