While in Albania he has been targeted by the ruling party attacks, the
Albanian President, Bamir Topi, was decorated today in Turkey with the
title Doctor Honoris Causa, by the Aydin University in Instambul.
The motivation approved by the University values “the national and international achievements of President Topi in his career, his contribution in securing peace and stability in Albania and Balkan”.
The Doctor Honoris Cauze titles was handed over to President Topi by the Chairman of the Aydin University Board, at the same time President of the Eurasian Universities Union, Dr. Mustafa Aydin.
The President is visiting Istanbul for the Conference of Leaders, organized by this important university of Turkey.
