President, reception at “Pallati i Brigadave”

The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, organized this afternoon a reception
at “Pallati i Brigadave” for the 40th anniversary of the foundation of
the Council of European Episcopal Conferences, in which participate the
President of the Council of European Episcopal Conferences, Cardinal
Peter Erdo, the Ambassador of the Holy See in Tirana, Msgr Ramiro
Moliner Ingles, the President of the Council of Albanian Episcopal
Conference, Msgr Rrok Mirdita and other high rank representatives of the
Council of European Episcopal Conferences.
The representatives chose Tirana for commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Council of European Episcopal Conferences, a meeting that coincides with the 20th anniversary of the reestablishment of the relations between Albania and Vatican.
While reminding the difficult situation of religions in our country until 20 years ago, President Topi mentioned the relations between Albania and Vatican, and the religious harmony that Albania enjoys today between Catholics, Orthodox and Muslim devotees.
