President Nishani welcomes McCain: “Proud for our alliance”

The President of Albania, Bujar Nishani, met with the US Senator and
former candidate for president, John McCain, who is attending an
official tour in some Balkan countries.
After welcoming the Senator, and valuing his contribution in the US policy, President Nishani noted that Albania will continue to contribute for its military and financial responsibility with NATO.
“We are proud to be loyal, decent and sincere allies of the USA, whose support inspires us for freedom and democracy”, Nishani underlined, guaranteeing Senator McCain that our country and the Armed Forces of Albania will continue this role even in the future.
The Albanian President and Senator McCain discussed the situation in Balkan, in which both valued the contribution of Albania for consolidating good-neighboring relations, with the purpose to have all countries part of the Euro-Atlantic community.
