The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, received Ali Ahmeti, leader of the
Albanian party in Macedonia “Democratic Union for Integration”.
Meta praised the contribution of DUI in service of Macedonia’s stability and for advancing with its European agenda.
Meta underlined that a full implementation of the Ochrid Agreement is of utmost importance in order to respect rights of Albanians in Macedonia, and improve mutual trust between Macedonian and Albanian citizens, which serves the country’s Euro-Atlantic integration.
The President expressed his commitment to keep strengthening the cooperation between Albania and Macedonia, working for the European perspective of the entire region.
