The Albanian President Ilir Meta during the meeting with the journalists today criticized the government for the way of managing the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
The President opposed the Prime Minister Rama earlier statements, saying that many doctors and nurses have migrated as result of the difficult conditions in the country and this has led to a decrease in the parameters of the medical service.
“I have made a lot of efforts but again we are the country that has invested less to face the pandemic, this is shown by the figures, small and medium business damages have increased poverty and is making it very difficult for many citizens to cope. I feel a strong solidarity for doctors and nurses in their difficult conditions and under a lot of pressure, this due to the emigration and depopulation of many doctors and nurses.

It requires greater effort from the medical staff and more accountability from the government, by way of being more open to cooperation and to show sensitivity and not arrogance.
