The President of the Republic, Ilir Meta has decreed the laws for normative acts on the negotiations for the purchase of the anticovid-19 vaccine for Albania, from manufacturers certified by the USA (FDA agency) or EU (EMA agency).
The President of the Republic also calls on the Government, that through a clear and efficient plan, to seriously engage with all resources, to cover the needs of the population for vaccination against Covid, within the shortest possible time and through a safe health protocol.
The Head of State emphasizes the necessity of informing the citizens about the vaccine and its characteristics, according to the established rules. According to him, transparency is essential in a democracy, especially in the fight against this pandemic, which is extremely dangerous for the health and lives of citizens.
