President Meta: Case 339 should be investigated with priority and impartiality

The President of Albania, Ilir Meta, asked the Prosecution to investigate Case 339 with priority, impartiality and professionalism.

This case includes audio recordings that were published one day ago by the German newspaper “Bild”.

The President also expressed his concern about the Prosecution’s order in which they demand that the audio recordings should not be published, being part of an ongoing investigation.

The President reminded that no order can go above the Constitutional right of free media to be independent.
