Given the serious situation created by the strike of air traffic controllers at Rinas airport and the role of the “Albcontrol” company for the management of airspace, President Ilir Meta, today officially addressed the Supreme State Audit, asking start without delay a full audit in the company “Albcontrol”.
The President requested reporting on the management of this company, compliance with legal provisions in decision-making, use of public funds and compliance with procedures in labor relations.
President Meta said that he is closely following the developments regarding the management of the strike situation in “Abcontrol” and in the “Mother Teresa” airport, and urges the respective authorities to take all measures, so as not to endanger the security of the airspace in Republic of Albania.
