President: I have not violated Constitution

The Albanian President visited Skopje, where he was asked about the
accusations launched from Prime Minister Berisha for a violation of the
Constitution regarding the proposition of the vice Chairman of the High
Council of Justice candidate. Topi declared that the name he proposed is
within the law and the Constitution has not been violated.

“This is a question that you should pose at home. I want to respect this moment. I don’t travel outside my country to discuss things regarding home. The priority today is my visit to Macedonia and the relations between the two countries”, Topi declared, asked by an Albanian journalist.

“However, I don’t want to hurt any journalist who has is right to pose question. By respecting you for the question, I will answer only about my competence as President of the Albanian Republic. In my entire activity, I gave never violated the Constitution. I see it appropriate to end my answer in this point, and continue every other communication in Albania”.
