President decorates activist Musa Demi

A well known activist of the National Movement for Independence of
Albania and one of the creators of the Albanian state, Musa Demi, was
decorated by the Albanian President, Bamir Topi, with the order “Honor
of the Nation” post mortem.
In the ceremony were present relatives and friends of Musa Demi.
The Head of the Albanian state decorated Musa Demi with the motivation: “Well known activist of the National Movement for Albania’s Independence and for the creation of the Albanian state; for the distribution of education in Albanian and books in Albanian language; for fighting until the last day of his life for the cause of the Cham issue, who were removed from their evicted from their lands by the Greek fascist forces through violence, after the end of WWII”.
