President appeals for bad weather situation

The Albanian President, Bamir Topi, appealed every state institution and
political party to focus on their cooperation and coordination for
confronting the emergency situation with success.
“In a free society and democracy, there is nothing more important than the citizens’ life”, the Head of the Albanian State declared.
The President appealed the state and private phone companies to take all measures for guaranteeing uninterrupted phone communication in every area. He appealed the private businesses to show solidarity and humanism for the citizens in need.
The President valued the work of the local leaders, the army, the police, the emergency units, the hospital and education services, the electric power supply workers, the electronic media and all other workers who have made everything possible to defend the citizens’ life, despite the difficult conditions.
