The Albanian President declared for the media that they are reporting a
campaign of threats against this institutions that serves to the
Constitution.
“The Head of the State has been constantly attacked in the recent days by defamations and threatens made by members of the new majority that came out the June 23rd elections. The most recent accusation is related to the fund that the government has given to the president. This fund has been given for realizing the fifth Summit of Western Balkan Presidents, which, according to the rotation system, this year will be organized by Albania on September 16th and 17th”, the declaration says.
The presidency guaranteed that they will continue to fulfill their constitutional obligations.
