Pope Francis arrived in Albania today from Italy, where he greeted the
Vatican representatives at the Rome Airport and traveled to Albania
through Alitalia.
The Pope told to journalist in the airplane that he is coming to Albania not only for the past, but mostly for what the Albanian society is today, a society in peace and with a model co-existence between religions.
The Pope presented to journalists the reason of his visit to Albania.
“Albania is a country that has suffered a lot and that has been able to find peace between different religions, and this is a beautiful sign for the world, the dialogue and the peace that support this state. I wish you a beautiful day and pray for me”, the Pope declared.
