Pollution: Companies to collect own packaging

After many controversies and harsh debates for removing the clause of
waste import from the Law for Integrated Management of Waste Materials,
the experts have mentioned the main objectives of this law. The law says
that fresh drinks companies must collect and recycle the plastic
encasements of their products on their own.
The law predicts fines for any individual, company or local leader the dumps wastes in unauthorized locations, that burns or pollutes waters.
Experts from the Ministry of Environment say that the approval and collection of the cleaning tax by the local administration is a great concern, because they often fail to collect it or do not use it for cleaning the cities.
For this reason has been asked the approval of the tax value, its collection and the contracting of cleaning firms that must act under some rules and conditions set by the national environmental strategy.
It is the first time that a waste law includes an obligation for citizens and companies to divide the materials since in the sources. This obliges the municipalities to build the necessary infrastructure for making citizens separate plastic wastes from glass and organic ones, in order to enable recycling.
The law also says that the recycling companies must raise parallel schemes for collecting and recycling waste materials.
