Pollo welcomes the HIDAA initiative

The High Inspectorate of Declaration and Audit of Assets (HIDAA) started
the procedure inspecting the assets of the Minister of Innovation and
Communication Technology, Genc Pollo.
This was after the suspicions raised at the Albanian Parliament for undeclared assets registered outside Albania. HIDAA announces that after receiving the declarations of MP Balla on Ocober 20th, decided to undertake a full investigation for Pollo’s private interests, in and out of Albania.
HIDAA will ask the assistance of the PAMECA international police mission, the experts of which will help with a complete investigation abroad. On the other hand, HIDAA has officially asked MP Balla to give detailed explanations for the information related to this case. Balla accused Pollo of having taken a 1.2 million EUR bribe.
Pollo’s press office has reacted by saying that they welcome HIDAA’s initiative and that they hope that this case, together with the suit against Balla for slander, will help in revealing the truth.
“These are appropriate ways for treating the slanders released by Balla, Rama and the cases of exclusive businesses that pay for interpellations”.
