The Minister of Innovation, Genc Pollo, held a press conference for the balance of his Ministry in 2011.
Pollo declared that his ministry has realized a series of projects that have reduced prices and increased competition in the mobile phone market.
“We have a stable and solid competition in the mobile phone market. We have prices that are affordable for the citizen, regardless their revenues. The significant price decrease is the best way to approach the Albanians to the market”, Pollo declared.
Another project of the Ministry of Innovation is the 3G service, which will be offer by two other companies.
“The 3G service will be offered not only by Vodafone and AMC, but also by a third company. Everyone will be informed”, Pollo underlined.
According to Pollo, the Ministry of Innovation has expanded the map of internet usage, by allowing everyone to have access.
“We have offered free internet, so that everyone can have access to it. The project for this year is to triple the figures”, Pollo declared.
“We will also digitalize the services, will work for protecting the consumer, encourage competitiveness, etc.” the Minister of Innovation added.
