Today’s meeting of the Commission of Laws for the amend of the Code of Roads was not different to yesterday’s meeting, when the voting was
postponed for next Monday, with request of the Socialist vice Chairman
of this commission, Fatmir Xhafaj.
The stalemate was overcome after the Socialists and the Democrats voted in unanimity with the spirit of the agreement reached this Monday at the Conference of Chairmen.
There’s no doubt that the consensus will be reflected this Thursday in Parliament, where is expected the establishment of the Common Commission for the Electoral Reform, with the Working Group starting the Parliamentary Regulation reform, in which the Socialists will be represented by Namik Dokle and Damian Gjiknuri, while the Democrats with Jemin Gjana and Viktor Gumi.
However, this is only the beginning of a difficult consensus that must be reached, and the mistrust between parties makes it even more difficult, but not impossible to finalize.
