The President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, held a speech during the Poznan summit that was organized as a continuity of the Berlin Process.

Meeting with the leaders of six Balkan countries, United Kingdom and Germany, Duda underlined that Poland supports the EU enlargement policy.

“Balkan is an integral part of Europe, geographically, culturally and historically. Without a full integration of Balkan, together with their beautiful culture and tradition, Europe will never be able to take a free and deep breath. I say this as President of a country that has benefited a lot from the development resources of the EU, which should be used in the future for the others as well. I underline that Poland is a country that is based on the enlargement policy of the EU, because it supports an Europe of open solidarity, rather than a Europe of deep mutual prejudice, closed by special fears and interests. This is not the Europe we want”, the Polish President declared.
