Police warns for dangerous roads

Police warned drivers to be careful in national roads that have been blocked by the snow in the recent days.

Police say that they are checking vehicles for the necessary winter equipments, while the roads are mostly covered by snow in Kukes, where in national ones tire chains are obligatory, while rural ones have been completely blocked.

The Diber District is also in a bad situation, where tire chains are obligatory for almost all roads.

The snow thickness in Shkoder has reached 30 cm and the most problematic are those in Puke.

Problems have been identified ini Lezhe, roads Fan – Kalimash, Mirditë – Shpal; roads Përrenjas – Qafë Thanë. In Korçë, roads Kapshticë – Korçë – Qafë Thanë, Korçë-Erseke and Leskovik.

The blocked segments in this district are Boboshtice-Dardhe and Korce-Voskopoje, while the southern roads Jorgucat – Qafa e Muzinës and Vlorë – Llogara also need tire chains.
