The opposition has been launching accusations with concrete names
against State Police for some time now, saying they have connections
with cannabis traffickers.

The Syndicate of Police Employees reacted for Top Channel and appealed all mentioned officers to start legal initiatives, individual or collective, in order to preserve their image.

“If they file for complaints, the syndicate will take action for their figure’s purity. This is proven through judiciary actions. We need to address this issue in order to make politics stop making police officers subject of their partial opinions”, said Sadetin Fishat, Chairman of the Police Syndicate.

None of the police officers accused by the Democratic Party have asked for legal assistance so far.

“We cannot prove if that is slander or not, but these officers need to speak, because silence is not on their favor. We asked the Prosecution to start a process based on the declarations that have been made so far”, Fishta declared.

The opposition accused more than 30 police officers of having ties with the crime. The Democratic Party say the accusations are based on a report of Italian and German Secret Services, but the existence of such a report was categorically denied by them on Top Channel.
