Police takes measures for celebrations

The Tirana Police made a measure plan for guaranteeing the activities
that will be held for the 100th anniversary of independence. Part of
these measures is stopping traffic in some roads.
“No car will be allowed from the square “Rilindja” at “Skënderbej”, the road segment “Bardhok Biba”, “Urani Pano”, “Barrikada” and “Dibra” to the “Skënderbej” square.
Vehicles will also be stopped from “Luigj Gurakuqi” and Rruga e Barrikadave to “Skënderbej” square. Other roads that will be stopped are “Zogu i Parë” and ‘Fortuzi” to “Skenderbej” square; “Dëshmorët e Kombit” and the Ministry of Defence to “Skënderbej” square; the “Rruga e Kavajës” and “Kont Urani” to the “Skënderbej” square”, the police notification states.
The police has also warned that all vehicles will be blocked from 18:99 to 22:00 and no parking will be allowed at the “Deshmoret e Kombit” Boulevard, the “Bajram Curri” Boulevard and to the “Mother Tereza” square, for allowing the concert that will be held at the “Mother Tereza” square.
