Police cooperation and joint war against organized crime is the topic of
the two day session that is being held in Tirana between the EU contact
officers for Southeastern European countries.
This session was greeted by the Interior Minister, Bujar Nishani, who underlined the fact that the globalization of criminality conditions an even closer cooperation between the police organizations and law-enforcing institutions of the region and wider.
Nishani guaranteed the EU contact officers for Southeastern European countries that the Albanian police will always be a serious partner and cooperator against organized crime.
The session was also greeted by the General Prosecutor, Ina Rama, who valued the cooperation of the Albanian Prosecution with their foreign homologues, mainly in the EU and US.
